Mia's heart lies in community service, evident through her extensive volunteering journey in hospitals, research labs, recreation centers, and food pantries. She is currently a Master's student in Clinical Psychological Science at the University of Maryland-College Park as well as a Teaching Assistant for ‘Intro to Psychology’. Beyond her academic pursuits, Mia envisions a future of continued service, fostering collaboration and positive change through her role as a volunteer coordinator.
WHY TRUE?
Mia fully agrees with the statement that those in our community who would benefit from treatment the most are the ones who have the least access to care. TRUE provides the access to evidence-based trauma care that is so desperately needed in our community.
