Current Services

Current Services

Consultations

It’s common for family members to have questions about their child’s behavior and reactions following a traumatic experience. Programs include caregivers and are most successful with active participation. We can provide a brief assessment to help answer your questions and determine if treatment is recommended.

Child and Family Therapy

Our clinicians are experts in time-limited treatments that have been shown by research to work for children who have experienced trauma. All programs are designed for weekly caregiver attendance and active participation to be most effective.

AVAILABLE THERAPY SERVICES

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy:

TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents who have been impacted by trauma.

Community  & Professional Training

We offer tailored presentations aimed at supporting caregivers and community groups, as well as training presentations and consultations designed for professionals in child-serving systems.

COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS

We offer tailored presentations aimed at caregivers and community groups. Each presentation is developed in response to the specific needs of the caregiver or community group requesting it. We can cover a variety of topics, including, but not limited to, trauma education, child abuse awareness and prevention, understanding typical vs. problematic sexual behavior in children, and increasing coping in the face of every day or traumatic stress.

PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS

We offer presentations and consultations tailored to professionals in child-serving systems, such as mental health practitioners, educators, child welfare workers, law enforcement, attorneys, and judges.

After School Learning Groups

We are excited to share that we have recently piloted after-school learning groups in partnership with So What Else, a DC-based organization that provides emergency food support and free out-of-school time programming for children in the DC-area.
