Consultations
It’s common for family members to have questions about their child’s behavior and reactions following a traumatic experience. Programs include caregivers and are most successful with active participation. We can provide a brief assessment to help answer your questions and determine if treatment is recommended.
Child and Family Therapy
Our clinicians are experts in time-limited treatments that have been shown by research to work for children who have experienced trauma. All programs are designed for weekly caregiver attendance and active participation to be most effective.
AVAILABLE THERAPY SERVICES
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents who have been impacted by trauma.
Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) is a brief, evidence‐based early intervention for children that reduces traumatic stress reactions and the onset of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). CFTSI is implemented shortly following a traumatic event or the disclosure of physical or sexual abuse.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for young children with behavioral problems. PCIT with traumatised children helps alleviate trauma symptoms and gives caregivers specific strategies to help their child with emotion regulation

With the right support, children can learn strategies to improve impulse-control skills, remain in control of their bodies, and follow home and school rules. We offer cognitive-behavioral treatments designed to treat incidents of problematic sexual behavior.
